It takes its name from the town of Arborio which is just 12 Km from Balocco and is perhaps the best known Italian rice in the world.
Arborio rice is able to increase its volume of nearly five times during cooking. This unique feature and the natural presence of starch, making it perfect for creamy risottos and soups.
